COR Honors Heroes: Our Team’s Role in the Tunnel to Towers Race
Creative Office Resources proudly participated in the Tunnel to Towers 5K, honoring the heroes of 9/11 and supporting first responders. As part of the NY community, this event allows us to give back and recognize the sacrifices that have touched many of our team members personally.
At Creative Office Resources (COR), we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back. This past weekend, our team had the privilege of participating in the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk, an event that holds profound meaning as it commemorates the heroes of 9/11 and supports first responders and military members who continue to protect us.
With strong roots in New York, this event is particularly meaningful to our team. The Tunnel to Towers race honors Firefighter Stephen Siller, who heroically ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to reach the Twin Towers on that tragic day. His courage and the sacrifices of so many others are at the heart of why we believe it’s important to support our community, especially those in law enforcement and public service. By participating as a team, we collectively show our appreciation for the bravery these heroes demonstrate every day.
As we continue to grow within the New York Community, COR remains committed to honoring the legacy of 9/11 and standing with those who protect and serve us every day. We are incredibly proud of our team’s participation and deeply grateful for the chance to support such a meaningful cause.

For us at COR, 45 minutes of running or walking is a small gesture compared to the immense sacrifices made by these individuals. Many of our team members, or their families, were directly affected by the events of 9/11, knowing people who were lost or impacted that day. And even if we weren’t personally connected, we are all adjacent to someone who was. This connection strengthens our resolve to honor those who gave their lives and support those who continue to serve.
Participating in the Tunnel to Towers race is not just about reflecting on the past—it’s about staying involved in our community and giving back to a cause that supports the families of fallen heroes and builds mortgage-free homes for veterans and first responders. Being part of this event leaves us with a deep sense of pride, knowing that our team’s efforts contribute to something much bigger than ourselves.
